Aeronautical Engineering speed conversion and atmospheric properties

You will find our IOS App on the App Store: ISAVee .

This is a very simple app to convert the various aerodynamic speeds (calibrated, equivalent, true, Mach number) from one to the others based on the last one provided.

The app will also compute the various atmospheric properties of the International Standard Atmosphere (ISA) as a function of pressure altitude (feet) and temperature deviation (deg C).

All the data is presented in a single view with scrolling for smaller screens.

It was originally developed as a personal utility (we use it everyday) and we have decided to make available on the App Store. We hope you will find it useful.

Very utilitarian, no eye candy here, sorry!

It is based on classical text book formulae. Our experience lies in subsonic aircraft design and it has been thoroughly tested there. Although the app will produce values above Mach one, they may not be accurate. Users beware.
